Multilingual Events and Conference Equipment
The setup
Trankos Consulting provides conference equipment and technical support for multilingual events across Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, and Montenegro, deploying a Danish DIS system with 7+1 interpretation channels, up to 100 delegate seats, IR distribution for up to 300 participants, and six ISO 17651-2 compliant portable booths.
Events are supported with professional interpreter headsets, Yamaha, Tascam, and Soundcraft audio equipment, a dedicated van, storage, and an on-site DIS operator, with full Zoom and Webex interpretation channel support for hybrid and remote formats.
Long-standing clients include the Council of Europe, GIZ, OSCE Mission in Kosovo, the EU Office in Kosovo, the World Bank, and TAIEX.

Experience
During Kosovo Census 2010 and again in 2024, Trankos supported the Council of Europe and the Kosovo Agency of Statistics with around 30 interpreters (and 30 drivers) per day across the region. The activity lasted about 30 days, with many simultaneous meetings, including online-only and hybrid setups, and escort interpreting using our guide-type interpretation system.
In March 2023, Trankos interpreters conducted a live simultaneous-interpreting demonstration at AAB College using the firm's own mobile booths, DIS headsets and technical van, independently documented.
